Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

For the "lovely water fairy" Ceinwen Melusine is named for, she is quite the stoic maiden. Ceinwen is the type of dragon that prefers one-word answers to actual conversation; she only speaks in sentences once she has indulged in Vanna Hans' sweet honey (straight from his beehive). Ceinwen does enjoy conversing with the other Blunas. However, she secretly craves the company of the Christmas dragons, with whom she has found a strange sort of friendship.
