Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lost deep within the heart of Archanea, there lies a colossal temple known as the Provenance. Of untold age, it was built to house the Mother of the Antecedents, three powerful dragons said to have existed before the Divine Dragon herself. These ancients continue to live, rarely showing themselves in even desperate times, while their influence on the land is ever-present.

The Overseer is an outgoing and active Avatar. Fathered by the now deceased Chrono Xenowyrm Enabem, the Overseer lives his life among the Archanean 'commoners', blending in with the other Avatars of his kind and passing off his exceptional bloodline as nothing that important to him. He maintains nearly no contact with the Mother. His older brother, the Catastrophe, and youngest sibling, the Surpasser, are really the only family members he begrudgingly has to do anything with, and only because the Mother taught him his necessary role. The Overseer never liked responsibilities.
