Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Scum Sucking Fruit Basket earned his name when he was a few years old from losing scuffles with other hatchlings. He is often in an abandoned building, a castle if he's lucky, perhaps holding onto a princess or lord or other "important" human. Just for fun. The red dragon decided not to rename himself so when the kidnapped human conversing with him asks for a name, he can look at their expressions when he answers, "Scum Sucking Fruit Basket". To humans, dragons are often expressionless, so the human doesn't know whether or not it's all right to laugh and so has this amusing combination of trying-not-to-giggle and trepidation on them.
