Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Timex is happy in solitude, and everyone feels that's the way things should be. She used to have a close companion, with whom she lived for nearly a hundred years, before her friend unfortunately died, that is, he died in an unfortunate manner, not that Timex thinks his death was an unfortunate occurrence. He was her most trusted confidant, and they had many children, but for many years, she worried that her partner potentially could one day call someone else his best friend. To prevent that from happening, Timex decided to kill him. She waited until he went to sleep for the day and struck his noggin with a lightning bolt so he couldn't declare a new friend during his last living moments. "I love you more than anything," she said as she gazed at his handsome face and stroked his still-warm body, "so I should be the one to kill you". Thus, her deceased darling has remained forever her dearest friend.
