Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Azuroa appears aloof and unfriendly, but is rather the opposite depending on who or what you are. Having spent most of his life in the care of humans, he finds himself more drawn to their company than the likes of his own kin and other related species. He finds himself drawn to the more quiet folk, those whom he deems defenseless but also tend to be the most kindest and generous. Azuroa tends to regard other dragons with superstition and distrust, just as most any human would, and tends to put up a front to ward them off, no matter their intentions. In his circle of dragon friends (oh, and that one nagging hen), he's not really close to any of them, though if a fights breaks out, he has been known to instinctively jump into the battle to break it up, using his shield to do the work for him. Azuroa only meddles in the scuffles of dragons he knows he can stop; any arguments between the black dragons, say, he stays wisely out of.
