White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eadwine is a rather quiet dragon, preferring to avoid conflict wherever possible. To his father's disbelief, he's only interested in female dragons as other seekers of knowledge, and to his mother's dismay, he has no interest in breeding eggs or raising hatchlings. Instead, Eadwine is interested in his healing duties, which he takes very seriously, and looking after his friend Eadwulf. Eadwine used to think he and Eadwulf were twins, just... magically from different eggs... and different parents. Even now, Eadwine still considers Eadwulf to be his brother. They work well as a team, as they both have complementary skills -- Eadwulf is loud and charismatic, Eadwine stable and trustworthy.
