As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Schettensis is a night glory drake with a big heart. She has been seen playing with other hatchlings many times even though she is much larger than them. Schettensis was found in the adoption cave, and not in the wild. Her mother and father might not have been able to take care of her, but no one really knows. She grew up happy and healthy playing with her best friends, Ethesis and Serpentes. Later, she found a small egg in the dragon cave. Its mother had abandoned it and it had no home. She showed her owner the egg and together they took care of it. Thanks to her, the clan now has a cheese dragon, Cheddar XVIII. Schettensis might discover many more cool things soon.
