Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

On the 25th of December 2012 GiratinaOF was staying near the cave because it was dark, windy and somewhat cold outside, but there was no snow. While he was looking after the hatchlings he heard a strange noise, and when he went to the entrance, there were two strange, unknown eggs. He decided to raise them, and once they became adults, one of them was named "Wrapping  Wing".

Wrapping  Wing seems to prefer being alone most of the time, however, he's always happy when he returns to the cave. His favorite place is a flat mountaintop where he admires the sunrise and also talks with groups of older hatchlings. He's shown to be a great flier, though he prefers staying on the ground. Hunting has never been one of his strengths, but the other Wrapping Wing Dragon in GiratinaOF's cave is always ready to bring him some meat. Wrapping Wing's best friends in the cave are his fellow, the Sunrise and the Dorsal Dragons.
