Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iblis is intelligent, cunning, and powerful. As an egg he was abandoned, despite being well on the way to hatching and he deeply wants to find his parents (whom he believes were powerful dragons easily capable of raising him) and find out why he was abandoned, and very likely give payback for it as well. Despite being a strong fighter, he prefers the role of general to warrior, using strategy and wits to defeat his foes. He is quiet and brooding, always thinking, plotting some new strategy or simply pondering some mystery of life. <br/>Testament is one few Iblis counts as friends, having grown up together since hatching. They share both a deep friendship and an equally friendly rivalry, though strained somewhat by their competing love for Mobius.
