Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. On the day Viper Of The Sky opened up her egg and came out she realized she was all alone is this world. Her parents had died in war with the alts. Her father was a brave dragon who fought to protect his eggs when only Viper survived the harsh winter. Her mother however heard that her husband had been sent to war with the alts and quickly rushed to his side. Right before she got there she heard a deafening cry, and saw her husband laying on the cold winter ground with an alt above him. As she charged at the alt, his mate lunged at her and gripped her by the throat and as her mother died Viper was born. She heard her mother and whimpered, but everything was over for her parents. She sat there cold and hungry until she had learned to hunt and survive. When she grew wings she learned how to fly and grant wishes. From then she had an egg with Rising Sunset Of The East.
