Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lusterheart is one of the sweetest dragons in the cave. Her voice is soft and high-pitched when she 'sings' melodiously, usually to charm another dragon or to entertain her tamer. Her silver scales are highly lustrous, and she takes great pride in keeping them neat. In direct sunlight, her body shines beautifully. Lusterheart seems to like the daytime over nighttime, and she loves to frolic in flowery fields chasing butterflies.
