Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon thinks that he honestly does not need a name. Now, many others have asked him why, but his only response is that "Names are overrated and everything is taken. Everything!" Now, some may understand why names are overrated—after all, it is rather disappointing to hear of a dragon named "The Great and Almighty Lord of Thunder," only to find out that he is a static dragon with wishful thinking. But what they cannot understand is how every name is taken. According to logic, names shouldn't be 'taken', and there's nothing wrong with two dragons sharing the same name, as long as they don't live right next door (unless it's really The Great and Almighty Lord of Thunder). But this dragon stands by his decision: he will never have a name, and he knows it! Secretly, though, he sometimes doubts his resolve, especially when other dragons are forced to refer to him with the rather long 'name' of "That-Daydream-Dragon-Who-Refuses-To-Get-A-Name-No-Matter-What-We-Say".
