Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

When Hawktalon has nothing to do and a quill in her hand, whatever is in front of her -- be it scraps of parchment, discarded scales, or even her own arms -- generally ends up covered in doodles that more often than not take the form of dragons. She rarely completes them, leaving a mess of shapes that are vaguely reminiscent of a dragon. When she does take time to finish them, however, haphazard lines become a lifelike representation of the world around her that are admired by many.

Scribbus, or Scribbly, came from a misfired spell that hit one such doodle. Luckily she'd penned in eyes and a mouth, though Scribbus' body is covered with inky hatchmarks. Being little more than a bored whim animated by accident, he has little intelligence, but he shares his "creator's" aptitude for art and spends hours drawing on himself with varying degrees of success. Most of the drawings show little skill, but occasionally one is so realistic that it appears to dance across his parchment form...
