Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Many ask the question, "What drives one to spend so much time hunting for that hidden treasure." Most blame greed. Others blame that first rare artifact that future treasure hunter holds in their hand. Then there are the rare few that seem to be born that way. This dragon is one of those few. He has a strange urge to spend hours a day hunting for rare artifacts, usually returning in vain. The human that raised him has called him 'The Treasure Hunter's Coin' ever since he was just a hatchling. Many of the clearing dragons assume that she is referring to the dragon's reflective color or, more likely, to his hunts, but many of the older dragons have noticed a sudden increase of rare eggs in the hatchery after his arrival, and she was known to bring him with her when she was looking for abandoned dragon eggs. So it is assumed that she may actually be the one to blame for his desire to collect piles and piles of rare treasures, and he is to blame for hers.
