Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Akiru is an anti-social, quiet dragon. He secludes himself from the others, and watches them from afar, observing them.<br/>Akiru has been through a torturous life. His mother wanted children, and she made sure she got what she wanted. She gave birth to triplets. Soon, she got bored of them, couldn't find any use for them. And of course, the father was rather annoying, pestering her with his affections. <br/>Before Akiru and his sisters' eyes, their father was murdered, a painful and long death. <br/>Without his father around, his mother began to notice her children more, and found that they can be amusing creatures.<br/>After years of torture and abuse, Akiru watched as his sisters were burned alive. <br/>He somehow managed to escape, and ran off as far away as he could possibly get from his old home.<br/>His eyes still bear the pain from his suffering. Despite his calm demeanor, he occasionally has violent fits if provoked.
