Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Clear is as transparent as a cheesie can get. She, for she thinks of herself as female, has no guile, no artifice; not a single dishonest hole in her body. When she accidentally punted that vampire egg BitterBite had bitten, she felt so guilty she practically ran to BitterBite to beg him for his forgiveness.

Clear has only told one lie in her entire span of existence, that she is a 'she' instead of an 'it'. Even though it is a lie almost every cheese, paper and dino has told, Clear still feels the lie crawling inside her, trying to eat its way out. She resolutely ignores the feeling, refusing even the concept of being known as an 'it'.
