Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends a lot of time stalking and pouncing playfully on the tails of adult dragons nearby.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cosmic Irony thinks everything is out to get her. She rarely gets her way with things; it seems the more important she deems something to be and the more effort she puts into its success, the greater the odds something will go terribly wrong. Grown dragons often go "hmm" and say the little copper is just being overly dramatic, but sometimes, there's no denying matters do seem to go wrong for her very often. Cosmic Irony is often seen with her arms in the air and shouting, "The universe is against me!"
