Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Illusion's Peace manages the archives for the Dreamweaver Clan, and is the father of many hatchlings. He isn't a particularly close father, usually retreating into his scrolls to hide from his current mate and kids. As the young get older, however, he revels in teaching them all he can. Usually he even illustrates he teachings with illusions to keep his younger, less bookish pupils entertained.

Before Illusion's Peace took over the archives, the Clan only collected books, scrolls and tablets, among other works to look like they cared, but with his teachings, Illusion's Peace made it a place that even the least studious or laziest of the Clan could still come to as a place of knowledge. The Clan isn't sure he knows that that crowd only shows up for the colorful scenes he create with his illusions, but no one wants to say anything lest he kick those dragons out, or simply ban them.
