Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Goldenharp is a mysterious and rare dragon, an essence of snow and ice, laughter and joy, and most of all, Christmas. He enjoys leaving small gifts for his friends, no matter the day. Most of the dragons he knows look forward to the days in which he is in a good enough mood to bring them a present. In the past, some of Goldenharp's dragon tribe took advantage of his willingness to give, and befriended him only to receive the gifts he gave out. Therefore, it takes a while for him to trust someone completely. One would know if you are considered his true friend and has his complete trust if you receive a present every year during the winter months.
