Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fateful Shadow is somewhat less evil than her name might suggest, but still not one to cross.  She has strong magic and an uncertain temper, and will not hesitate to retaliate against anyone who means her harm.  Perhaps because of her infamous parents, Fateful Shadow prefers to live a quiet life and keep to herself, lurking around the edges of gatherings without ever fully being a part of them.  In times of danger, though, she will intervene, using her powerful magical talent to strike and be gone before her target is even fully aware of what happened.  For all her quiet ways, Fateful Shadow has hidden depths, and those who take the time to get to know her will find her a most intriguing individual.
