Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hammer of Hephaestus is the oldest magma dragon in the area. He traveled for many years before settling down. He was once known for his skill in metalworking, although it's been many years since then; he even taught the famed Feu Frou-Frou some of what he knew.

His active years are behind him now, and he's more than satisfied to be an observer now. He isn't the most knowledgeable, but his experience has given him wisdom and peace.

He's had several children, but most either stayed with their mothers, were stolen, or struck out on their own as hatchlings. He raised Anvil of Hephaestus, his daughter, by himself and the two are very close. She is more outgoing and personable, and sometimes gives him a nudge when it comes to interacting with the other dragons. Still, she is understanding and will never push too hard.

Hammer of Hephaestus is the retiring, introverted type, and although he likes other dragons and can enjoy their company, he's just as happy being alone with his thoughts.
