Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Although some critique her name as strange, outlandish, and just plain stupid, TLPH is rather proud of her name. It started when she hatched, during the normal dragon naming ceremony. Her father was holding a lobster at the time. As the cerimonial dragon asked her father what her name would be, the lobster pinched him, and he cried out in shock, "This lobster pinches hard!" And thus, she was named. Despite her unique name, she is a perfectly normal dragon, carrying the warrior's blood typical of black dragons in her. She is a very quick thinker and well known throughout the cave. Although some mock her for her strange name, she prefers to ignore them instead of starting a fight, which she would usually win.
