When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nendis enjoys frolicking in her lake. She uses her tail to create waves and amuses herself by diving through them. She likes playing with humans by following them underwater and then rising up beside their boat. Although she is playful, she is also kind, mothering her friends, acquaintances, and anyone who comes to her for help.

Nendis has a great deal of innate wisdom about dragons and how they interact with each other. Other dragons come to her for advice, particularly young mothers with their first eggs, or young males intent on winning a mate. She adores looking after young dragons, and is in great demand as an egg-and-hatchling-sitter. Hatchlings especially appreciate her sense of fun, and she is often found with a crowd of them under her care.

Nendis looks for a mate who has a sense of fun and who won't get under her tail once breeding is accomplished. Her attitude is that his part is over, and it is her job to raise the eggs.
