Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys running through a nearby pumpkin patch.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The night of the 26th of October 2011 was a cold, but clear night. GiratinaOF was walking through the area around the cave when he found some pumpkin eggs on a pumpkin patch. They hatched soon and one of them was named "Little-Pumpkin".

After hatching, this hatchie wasn't the healthiest and could hardly survive. GiratinaOF needed to freeze her because she most likely wouldn't have survived the exhausting grow-up. After stopping to age she managed to regenerate and is now a healthy female hatchling. Because Little-Pumpkin is so small, other adult Pumpkins give her food, but like the adults she owns her own pumpkin.
