Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonshine loves the nighttime. When she was a hatchling, her mother would take her out at night and gaze at the moon with her. Moonshine would ask about the spots in the darkness, and her mother told her they were baby moons waiting to grow up, just like her. Moonshine asked her what they eat to grow, and she replied, "They absorb light from the Momma Moon." So every night she asked if they could check up on the baby moons, and see if they got any bigger. But, to her disappointment, they never looked any bigger than the night before. So, Moonshine decided to help them grow faster by reflecting the moon's light off of her scales back to them. That's when she started dancing around. Every night there after she danced in the moon's shine. After she eventually grew up, she still dances at night, enjoying the stars above.
