Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dancing Princess Kim was the first pink born to Wozzy and Pretty Little Farmer. She was also the only one to be raised in the cave though her parents go and visit her harvest brothers and sisters. Kim wishes she hadn't been born pink. She hates being treated like she's some sort of weakling because of her coloring. When she's had enough of the teasing she flies out of the cave and flies about. She looks like she's dancing when she does this.

Recently she's been taken on as an apprentice by Duncan the Magic Policeman who focuses on teaching her about science and strange natural phenomenon. Unfortunately he and Kim were messing around one day and she ended up tainted by his experiments. Now her front paws and part of her face are covered in a glowing purple substance, and sometimes she falls into trances and acts strange.
