Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Egress is an outgoing wee hatchling with a knack for finding a way into any dark place. He likes to curl up next to City at night, discussing the next day's mapping plans.

Egress and City are the mapmakers of their cave. Between them, they have explored every nook, every cranny, and have charted all they have seen. Their natural glow allows them to see in very dark corners. Egress, as the smaller of the two, does most of the poking about while City does most of the recording of what they've seen.
