Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Outside one of his Pack's main caves, Leo Kurygos stands guard. Many people and even dragons would think of him nothing less than a statue, but upon seeing a flicker of movement they'd know they were wrong. Being a Stone Dragon, Leo Kurygos uses his statue like body to his advantage, staying still for hours at a time, waiting for prey to come close. He then surprises them by moving and then catching them in his jaws. His Superior, Tarkie, also uses the same thing to the pack's benefit, placing him as a guard outside caves. When he isn't busy, Kurygos helps his dear friend Neo Auroris by making sure nothing happens to the little hatchlings Auroris is in charge of. He stands outside the Hatchlings Cave and carries curious hatchlings who have wandered too far outside the safety of the cave back inside.
