Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Merlyn Argentmage was discovered by Fulnar on one of his expeditions into Argent Mountain's labyrinth of tunnels.  The magi had been put under a sleep spell, which Fulnar gladly broke, eager for a friend.

Merlyn is considerably more high-strung than Fulnar.  He's rather jumpy, can worry about anything and everything, and has a tendency to babble when he gets excited.  As he spends more time with Fulnar, he's growing somewhat calmer, though whether as a result of Fulnar's steadier disposition rubbing off on him, some side effect of the sleep spell finally wearing off, or just growing more comfortable with his new life remains unclear.

Merlyn, besides giving Fulnar someone besides his parents to talk to, has also encouraged him to be a little more adventurous, talking Fulnar into going on journeys with him (like the infamous "world tour"), and encouraging him to get to know the dragons they encounter—even the dangerous ones, like vampires.
