Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys gathering pebbles and other small rocks and putting them in a pile.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Forryst is best friends with his brother, Brahken. Because of Brahken's wild nature, they spend a lot of time alone in the forest, however they aren't lonely as they enjoy each others company.

As he has inherited some of his fathers Vine heritage, as well as his mothers ability to do magic, Forryst can control any plants around him. One of the brothers favourite games is to pit a random plant against against Brahkens vines and see who wins. However Forryst usually holds back against Brahken as he doesn't want to hurt his vines.

The other hatchlings in the clan of abandoned dragons think that both Forryst and Brahken are weird.
