White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dr Beaute is utterly convinced that ugliness is a form of illness that has to be treated. Most ordinary illnesses and injuries are well covered by the varied members of the healing caves but no one has really specialised on treating the long-nosed or the cripple-tailed, an oversight Dr Beaute was more than happy to fix. Like she fixes wing-feather-loss and horn-pattern-bleach, tail-stone-tarnish and conjoined tail-ends. Dr Beaute loves to beautify her fellow dragons through a wide collection of medical spells, she has developed just for that reason.

Unlike most of her colleagues though, she insists on adequate payment and won't settle for anything but a good chunk of pretty jewels or polished coins.
