Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The first of his kind to be raised by the human Mirhana, it fell to Brian to find a home for himself and the other Golden Wyverns. The Silvers and Guardians, the oldest clans of dragons living in the highlands Alba, were unwilling to take them in and rather than start a conflict he moved further south-east, hoping the old and proud Dealan would accept them. Although alike in their shining scales, the Gold denied Brian access to the lush valleys that provided sustenance to his family. Nevertheless, Dealan would grant the Golden Wyverns the lands higher up in the mountains. With his love for mountains ruling his heart Brian gladly accepted. What the cunning Dealan had failed to mention was the pack of Ice and Winter dragons inhabiting the snowy summits. The young Wyvern nevertheless took up the challenge, and with his new mate Beitris and their offspring he is all the more determined to carve out a living for his family, wedged between proud Golds and fierce Ices.
