Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Antisocial and mean, those are the words just about any dragon would use to describe Midnight. Being a nocturne dragon, Midnight has to stay in the dark shaded corners of the cave until sunset. He almost never speaks and shows cold indifference to everything and every one. But when night comes, Midnight is free to roam. And while Mossilina, a Neotropical dragon he can't stand, tries to talk to him in the day, Willow, a gentle White dragon, talks to him at night. Willow would often stay up to practice her magic, and on one of Midnight's rounds, he noticed her and landed a ways away to watch. Willow isn't pushy or obsessive about his socialization like others (Mossilina) she is supportive and kind. One of the only other dragons who can understand Midnights good intentions is Zap, an Electric Dragon. While Midnight may act rude and cruel to Zap, he secretly respects him, and Zap knows it. Midnight may appear cruel, but he can be a valuable and loyal friend to those who earn it.
