And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Remembrance always tries to remember why human beings celebrate Christmas. Every since he was born, he has heard of the name Christmas. He has heard various theories from other dragons. He heard about a baby being born this day, a long time ago, and this is why the humans host their festivity at this time of year. Yet, he wonders why the humans like to gather gifts and decorate trees and cover their houses in holly, mistletoe, and garland. He has also observed human beings more excited about gifts and celebration rather than the "why" part. Remembrance also wonders why humans can be so mean and critical of others during the festivities. Being the small, immature hatchling that he is, Remembrance still cannot fathom the behavior of human beings, and probably never will. However, he is always thrilled to be greeted by sweets and food whenever he visits a village.
