Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Despite being a Deepsea dragon, Feaz is young enough that he still feels more comfortable in lower-pressure heights of the ocean. With his very curious and free of any kind of fear attitude Feaz regularly swims up to the upper layers of the ocean, playing with the hatchlings of other water-based breeds. He proudly holds the clan's record for "Deepsea hatchling who has broken the sea's surface the most times".
