Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Replace is always getting into trouble one way or another, either by flying through the inner caverns at dangerous speeds or as a result of his careless and hasty actions out on hunting trips. He is particularly fond of eggs, and he'll sometimes try to grab one from the main nest, usually by switching it with a nicely sized rock. Amoti almost always finds out and gets the egg back from him quickly, but he once managed to keep a geode's egg for an entire day.
