Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Bavince used to be an upbeat, cheerful dragon who never missed an opportunity to show off his new mate, Juods. The two were never seen apart, always smiling and flirting and joking around with each other. "Oh, it's the newlyweds," others would say when Bavince and Juods were around, rolling their eyes and generally giving them the widest berth possible while still being polite. They were the happiest couple around...until the Plague. Now, it takes energy for him to drag himself awake, and it's all he can do to get through the day. The Plague left him sapped of his vitality, weaker than most dragons ten times his age, and all but clinically depressed. Bavince does his best to keep his mate happy, and she does her best to understand that he just isn't up to it anymore, but their happiness is slowly crumbling before his eyes, and there's little he can do to stop it.
