Despite their great size and strength, Celestial Dragons are a peaceful breed named for their spectral, starry appearance. Little else is known about them, as they spend the vast majority of their lives partially phased out of the plane of existence through the use of powerful magic. Celestial Dragons are thought to assume their corporeal form only long enough to reproduce or to die; the rest of the time, they resemble living, breathing constellations, impervious to all physical and magical harm.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Up until the day he vanished, Yuri always appeared to be some estranged, unstable and insane dragon. He claimed that every time he phased out he could see the future. For three weeks every month, he explored years ahead, then wrote forecasts in one of his tomes—but never to show others. Yet for how well he hid his findings, they were eventually discovered.

Even now, the writings remain undisclosed. The few who have read them tend to be there for one piece, the last words Yuri ever wrote. Isolated in its own book, it reads simply as follows:

'In this land of false light, I feel progressively isolated. They think they own the world. And as I hide here, I see this gigantic dark building far away. On the last night of every month without fail, the sound of straining, screeching metal and a despairing, unearthly roar echoes out from it. Another one of those things they make. They call it the Equal Dragon Weapon. A mix of blood and steel, made with the flesh of dragons, to kill dragons.'
