Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rocwyng was reckless as a dracling, and his lust for exploring almost got him killed many times before he even grew wings. After reaching full maturity, however, he realized how stupid his activities were. He moved to a mountain southwest of Thyras's territory, and sealed himself into the massive hollow cavern inside. As well as anyone knows, he still lives within the mountain, feeding on giant beetles that are almost as big as horses.
