Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Ched'erific is a friendly little dragon. It is always ready for a good story, never minding if it were listening or telling. No one knows for sure how old it is or even if it is male or female. For some unknown reason no one seems to ever remember when they first met Cheder. The little fellow is never flustered and spends most of it's time with the hatchlings and eggs. Cheder plays with and tends to the needs of the hatchlings and likes to keep the eggs polished and rotated. It is forever sliding the eggs up against the red dragons during the night to keep them warm. It's best friends are the clans two frozen hatchlings, Beany Baby and Missy-Toe. Those three are always up to something.
