Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon ran away from home when he was very young, which is actually pretty amazing, considering that he was an egg at the time. His parents were both vegetarians, especially his mother who is a Thunder Dragon, and he probably did not want to risk getting an electric shock as a punishment every time he'd point out that fish are so much easier to catch than tofu (there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that his mother would actually use such punishment but young minds do have a vivid imagination). Be that as it may, he found a new home and lives very happily and carnivorously on his own; after all, a 12th generation Dorkface can do what he wants to do (again, there is no evidence that being related to a famous dragon is any different from being related to unknown ones, but you know what a vivid imagination can do).
