Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elbrus always makes sure to clean his scales, preen his feathers, and trim his talons to perfection. He takes pride in looking his best; he even applies a fine, colored powder to his face to accentuate his features. Even as a hatchling he preferred spending time with female dragons over males, especially the violent, quick-to-anger males of his own species. While the other males were tussling in the mud and practicing their fighting skills, Elbrus was gossiping with the females and inviting them over for lunch. His habits may be considered 'feminine' by some, but any who remind him of this usually forget that he is still a Seragamma Wyvern, and therefore perfectly capable of mercilessly beating them into the ground. Elbrus also isn't ashamed of bragging about his many mates and offspring, and how he raised his progeny to be tolerant and accept others based on their character and not their gender, race, or other superficial standards.
