Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to bear some semblance to a horse.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Curry Comb was named after the circular object that is used to loosen dirt and loose hairs on a horse's coat, but unlike her namesake the little hatchling is anything but helpful. When she was still actively growing she was known as quite the nuisance among her fellow clan members, stealing from the hoards of the adults and getting into countless fights with the other hatchlings, and she was frozen to see if the spell would put a stopper on any of her troublesome behavior.

Sadly, however, the freezing really only seems to have made matters worse. Curry has now turned her attention towards tormenting unsuspecting humans, and many a disgruntled farmer has had to chase her out of crop fields or hen houses. There is a widespread hope that someday a dragon will come along that can successfully tame her more wild tendencies, but the chances of said event happening seem to grow smaller and smaller with every passing day.
