Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ratchett is a very fierce and stern electric dragon. She can be very hot tempered at times of distress, but she is always fair toward both her guild and her enemies. She will do anything to protect her family and friends and isn't afraid to stand up for the good of things. Ratchett makes a good example of a leader toward the young ones of the guild and believes in equality and kindness, although she can be very strict.

Ratchett is the Exalted of the Axezin guild; in other words, she is the dominant dragon who leads them.

She is the adoptive mother of Sinta and Airza, who are now her loyal deputies.
