Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. It has the colors of a bright summer day.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Pat loves to flutter around the smallest of the two-legged creatures living in those artificial wooden caves. They always make pleasing sounds when they see her and very often give her treats when she sits down on their shoulders or hands.
