Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems shy, but loves attention.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Princesse does not understand much of what goes on around her. She seems to be forever in a lost or dazed state. Her older sister and fellow frozen hatchling, Neua, has attempted to teach Princesse the ways of the clan and the world around them. However, the cute hot pink hatchling cannot seem to understand and continues to go on in her dazed and confused way, simply playing with the other, more immature hatchlings.
