Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Deckr likes decorating for the holidays more than he likes the event itself. He gets boughs of holly from the holly dragons, ribbons from the ribbon-dancers, and all manner of other festive items form all the other christmas dragons to use for decking the halls. Somehow, he has not figured out why his hall-decking is almost always accompanied by others singing "fa la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la" and is moderately annoyed by the song. After Carvynia got him some particularly thick ear-muffs one christmas, he has worn them to muffle the sound.

There is some question about Deckr and Carvynia's relationship. He has shown a great interest in her pie problems, but since she doesn't want any help he can't support her. He has sampled many of her failed attempts and reports that they are superb—but she wants perfect. He may be trying to court her, but it is unclear whether it will come to anything.
