Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ice Prism is an Ice dragon who takes a great interest in optics, involving the behaviour and properties of light. It's a subject that is very shaky among the dragons, and little is known about it, making it one of the best subjects to focus on for brilliant new discoveries. He can often be found out in the sunlight, messing with various transparencies and prisms that he has acquired with help from other dragons. He occasionally includes mirrors and reflective surfaces such as still water in his research.

Prism is a rather friendly dragon compared to most of the Ices in his owner's cave, and has good relations with most of his fellow intellectuals. Several Bloodscales have already taken interest in his experiments and begun to brainstorm and assist him, hoping to someday be part of an amazing, life-changing discovery.
