Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Lady Of Obscurity And Unknown only ventures outside at dawn and dusk, when the light is such that she does not glow too obviously, nor do her scales glitter. She is quite shy and tends to keep to herself within the weyr, quietly reading. Despite her reclusive nature, the male white, One Who Is Peaceful Of Heart has taken a liking to her, and the two can be seen soaring low above the cliffs during twilight hours. She has a fondness for watching crepuscular animals emerge from the shadows, and would like to keep a deer or two, or rabbits, as pets, but is well aware of the unrestrained habits of dragon hatchlings around such creatures.
