Bolt Dragons are incredibly powerful dragons with the ability to wield lightning magic. They can be ruthless on occasion, but are generally mild unless provoked. Due to their intelligence and keen observational skills, it is incredibly arduous to attack a Bolt Dragon undetected. If threatened by a formidable opponent, Bolt Dragons will flare out their fin-like appendages to make themselves look more menacing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Last Valiant, also referred to simply as "Valiant", was the guardian protector of her home in an age long past. The steep cliffs and oppressively thick forests below them kept most would-be intruders away for a very long time. The peace was not meant to last forever, and her home was soon under assault from a greater force than she and her company were able to repel.

One by one the Valiants fell until only she remained. Thoroughly beaten, The Last Valiant was forced to retreat or die. Now she lives in mostly solitude, often wondering if perhaps she should have remained with the other Valiants instead of dwelling in shame.

A second chance came for The Last Valiant when the small clan "Pyrali" settled near her retreat. Though she rarely walks among them, The Last Valiant is a distant and watchful protector of her new clan.
